Logging In

You can connect to the Echo sensor through either a LAN or Wi-Fi network.

  1. Are you connecting through a LAN or Wi-Fi?

    Continue with the next step.
    1. In your Wi-Fi adapter, locate and select the Echo sensors wireless network: iss-echoxxxx (where xxxx is the Echo device ID). The default password is echo123456.
    2. Continue with the next step.
  2. Start your Internet browser.
  3. In the url field, enter the IP address used to connect to the Echo sensor.
    • For LAN connections, the default IP is 192.168.0.10.
    • For Wi-Fi connections, the IP is 10.99.50.1.

  4. Is this your first time logging in to the RTMS Echo?
    Yes No
    Continue with the next step. Proceed with your login credentials and disregard the following steps in this section.
  5. Enter the Username and Password. If the firmware was upgraded from a previous version, the login credentials are the same as before. If this is a new installation, the defaults are:
    • Username: admin
    • Password: rtmsecho
  6. Click Login

    The following appears. A password change is required during the inital setup.

  7. Use the drop-down to select the country where the Echo sensor is installed.
  8. Select one of the following.
    • US – speed and lengths are shown in MPH and feet.
    • Metric – speed and lengths are shown in Kp/h and meters.
  9. Enter the current password: rtmsecho
  10. Enter the new password.
  11. Re-enter the new password.
  12. Click Save.

Logging Out

To log out from the RTMS Echo web app, click Logout to the left of Welcome at the top right of the page.
